AMP10122

The AMP10122 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 2 to 8 GHz. It is based on GaN technology and is designed for broadband, high-power RF applications supporting all single-channel modulation standards. This class AB amplifier delivers a CW output power of over 50 W, with a power gain of over 47 dB and a gain flatness of 4 dBp-p. It has spurious levels of better than -60 dBc and harmonics of -15 dBc. This power amplifier has a 2-tone intermodulation of -30 dBc and an input/output return loss of 10 d. 

The AMP10122 requires a 32 V DC supply and draws less than 14 A of current. It includes built-in protection circuitry and requires an external heatsink for forced air cooling. This amplifier is available as a module measuring 200 × 110 × 25 mm and has SMA (female) connectors. It is suitable for EMC/EMI and RFI testing, laboratory use, and general communication applications.
