AMP20078

The AMP20078 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 1 to 6 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of more than 150 W (CW or Pulse) with a power gain of over 52 dB. This SSPA is based on a Class A/AB linear design that achieves high efficiency with unprecedented reliability and ruggedness. It has spurious levels of up to -60 dBc and harmonic levels of -20 dBc. This power amplifier has a 2-tone intermodulation distortion (IMD) of -30 dBc and a return loss of less than 10 dB (input and output). 

The AMP20078 consists of built-in protection circuits with extensive monitoring capabilities of parameters via a local LCD panel. This power amplifier can be controlled using remote flexible interfaces such as Ethernet RJ-45 TCP/IP, RS422/485, USB and GPIB (optional). It requires an AC supply of 100-240 V and consumes less than 1500 W of power. This SSPA is available in a 3U rack-mount enclosure that measures 430 x 133 x 560 mm and has N-type (female) connectors. It is ideal for EMI/RFI testing, labs, CW/Pulse, and communication applications.
