The AMP2087A from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 1 to 18 GHz. It delivers a saturated CW/Pulsed output power of more than 5 W with a gain of over 37 dB. This class A/AB amplifier has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc and harmonics better than -20 dBc. It has built-in protection circuits and along with optional forward/reflected power monitoring (in dBm and W), VSWR, voltage, current, and temperature sensing for excellent reliability.
The AMP2087A has a local LCD interface and is available in a rack-mountable 2U chassis that measures 430 x 89 x 560 mm with N-type (female) connectors. It is designed for EMI/RFI, lab, CW/Pulse, and all EW communication applications. The amplifier requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V and consumes under 50 W of power.
