AMP30016

The AMP30016 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Pulsed Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 8 to 10.5 GHz. It is based on a Class AB linear design and is intended for X-band airborne and phased-array applications. This SSPA delivers more than 500 W of pulsed output power with a gain of more than 57 dB. It has spurious levels better than -60 dBc, harmonic levels better than -20 dBc, and an input return loss greater than 10 dB. 

The AMP30016 includes built-in protection and monitoring features and requires an external heatsink for operation. It requires a 42 V DC supply and draws up to 4.8 A of current. This amplifier is available as a module measuring 250 × 175 × 27 mm (excluding connectors) and has an SMA (female) connector at the input and an N-type (female) connector at the output.
