AMP40007

The AMP40007 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 8.0 to 12.0 GHz. It is based on a linear GaN design and is designed for EMI/RFI, laboratory, CW/pulse, and communication applications. This Class A/AB amplifier delivers a saturated output power of 300 W (CW or Pulse) with a power gain of more than 55 dB and a gain flatness of 3.0 dB peak-to-peak. It has harmonic levels below -20 dBc and spurious levels of less than -60 dBc with a return loss of more than 10 dB.

The AMP40007 includes built-in protection circuits and extensive monitoring capabilities and can be controlled manually via a local LCD interface or remotely via Ethernet RJ-45 TCP/IP, RS-422/485, and USB interfaces. It requires a 100-240 V AC supply and consumes 3 kW of power. This SSPA is available in a 6U rack-mount enclosure measuring 430 × 266 × 750 mm and has a Type-N female connector at the input port and a WR-90 waveguide interface at the output port.
