GRF5847

The GRF5847 from Guerrilla RF is a Linear Power Amplifier (PA) that operates from 4.4 to 5.2 GHz. It is designed to provide native linearity performance and excellent EVM/ACLR vs. output power characteristics, thereby eliminating the need for digital predistortion while delivering high performance. This PA is manufactured using an InGaP HBT process. It delivers a saturated output power of 35.5 dBm (~3.55 W) with a gain of 40 dB and an efficiency of 52%. 

The GRF5827 does not require external matching circuitry and features digital shutdown capability to ensure high reliability. It requires a DC supply of 2.7 to 5.5 V and draws less than 215 mA of current. This RoHS-compliant power amplifier is available in a LAMM-12 package that measures 2.5 x 3.0 mm. It is ideal for point-to-point data links, air-to-ground-to-air operations, ship-to-shore-to-ship operations, n79 band wireless infrastructure, and C-band applications.
