KXL 1 Image

The KXL 1 from K-PA is a GaN Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) MMIC that operates from 7 to 12 GHz, covering the X band. It is designed to maintain low noise while offering enhanced tolerance to transmitter leakage and strong interference conditions frequently encountered in modern radar and aerospace systems. This LNA provides a small-signal gain of 26 dB with a noise figure of 1.45 dB and a saturated output power of 19 dBm.

The KXL1 requires a 6 V DC supply and draws 50 mA of current. It is available in a chip package that measures 2.9 x 1.0 mm. This amplifier is ideal for radars, X-band synthetic aperture radar (SAR) payloads, active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars, electronic warfare systems, and SATCOM terminals.
