The KX1-3046 from K-PA is a GaN-on-SiC Power Amplifier (PA) MMIC that operates from 8 to 10.5 GHz, covering the X-band. It delivers an output power of 30 W (pulse width - 100 µs and 10% duty cycle) with a gain of 28 dB and a power-added efficiency (PAE) of 46%. This amplifier is fabricated on GaN-on-SiC process. It is internally-matched to 50 Ohms and includes DC blocking capacitors on both the input and output ports.  

The KX1-3046 requires a DC supply of 28 V and consumes 0.6 A of current. This PA is available as a bare die that measures 2.95 x 3.10 x 0.10 mm. It is ideal for military and commercial radar systems.
