SGN-X5-30

The SGN-X5-30 from KRATOS Defense & Security Solutions is a GaN Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 6 to 12 GHz. It delivers an average output power of more than 30 W (CW, 100% duty cycle) with a small signal gain of over 50-60 dB and an efficiency of 15%. This SSPA is based on GaN technology that enables customers to implement a low-cost SSPA in their applications. It requires a DC supply of +12/23 V or -12 V and consumes less than 11 A of current. 

The SGN-X5-30 power amplifier is available in a module that measures 5.12 x 4.33 x 0.98 inches. This SSPA is ideal for radar, data links, communication systems, and test equipment applications.
