The MAAL-011222 from MACOM is a Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA) that operates from 650 to 4200 MHz. It delivers a gain of up to 23.4 dB with a noise figure of 0.66 to 1.0 dB and an output P1dB of 20 dBm. This LNA has a reverse isolation of 27 dB and a return loss of 15 dB (input) & 8.5 dB (output). It has an integrated active bias circuit to minimize variations over temperature changes and processes and also has the ability to switch between LNA and bypass modes. This amplifier requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes 55 mA of current. It is available in a DFN plastic package that measures 2 x 2 x 0.85 mm and is ideal for 5G base stations, wireless infrastructure, general-purpose wireless and TDD or FDD system applications.
