The MAAL-FR1245 from MACOM is a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) MMIC that operates from 27 to 31.5 GHz. It provides a gain of 26 dB with a noise figure of 1.2 dB and an output P1dB of +5 dBm. This LNA is manufactured using 0.07 µm gate length pHEMT technology. This MMIC is also fully protected with silicon nitride-based passivation to ensure high reliability. The amplifier requires a DC supply of +1.5 V and -1.5 V & consumes 48 mA of current.

The MAAL-FR1245 is available in a PQFN package that measures 3 x 3 mm and uses gold bond pads with backside metallization. This RoHS-compliant amplifier is ideal for radar and SATCOM applications.
