The AVA-2183+ from Mini-Circuits is a Gain Block MMIC that operates from 2 to 20 GHz. It provides 16 dB of gain with a noise figure of less than 6.7 dB and has a typical P1dB of 19 dBm. It is suitable as a linear gain block or as a LO driver for mixers in transmitter or receiver lineups. This amplifier requires a DC supply of 4 V and consumes 210 mA of current. It is available in a 20-lead QFN package that measures 4 x 4 mm and is suitable for test and measurement, 5G MIMO, backhaul radio systems, SATCOM, radar, EW, and ECM defense systems applications.
