The HL9401 from HYPERLABS is an RF Balun that operates from 100 MHz to 20 GHz. It converts an unbalanced 50 ohm signal to a precision-balanced differential signal. It is bi-directional and can also be used as a high-precision signal combiner (differential to single-ended) with excellent CMRR and minimal harmonic distortion. The HL9401 can handle an input power of up to 1 W and has an insertion loss of less than 7.5 dB. It has an amplitude balance of under ± 0.5 dB and a phase balance of ± 6 degrees at 20 GHz.

The HL9401 is available in a module that measures 55.88 x 27.94 x 10.16 mm and has SMA-Female connectors and is suitable for use in 40 Gbps communications systems, high-speed analog-to-digital conversion, frequency response testing for differential devices, and other applications. It offers unrivaled bandwidth, amplitude and phase match, and price-for-performance in microwave and RF applications.
