The AM5007 from Mercury Systems is a Double Balanced Mixer with RF/LO frequencies from 6 to 27 GHz and an IF frequency from DC to 18 GHz. It exhibits low conversion loss and high linearity, making it ideal for up/down frequency conversion in demanding, low-SWaP RF systems. The LO input of this mixer can be driven by pairing with Mercury’s AM1157 driver amplifier. This double-balanced mixer has a conversion loss of 7 dB and a P1dB of 10 dBm. It provides an isolation of 40 dB (LO-to-RF) and 30 dB (LO-to-IF and RF-to-IF). This mixer is available in a surface-mount QFN package and operates over a temperature range of -40 to +85°C.
