The LNPLL from Wenzel Associates is a Phase Lock Loop that operates from 5 to 150 MHz. It comprises of a low noise phase detector, a high performance loop amplifier, lock and rail detectors and a low noise voltage regulator, all integrated into a single package. The module offers Type 1 or Type 2 loop configurations that can be configured with loop bandwidths from 0.1 Hz to 1 kHz, depending on the tuning sensitivity of the VCO. It has a typical lock time of less than 1 second and tuning voltage from 0 to 10 VDC. The PLL supports an input power level from 10 to 20 dBm, requires a DC supply voltage from 12 to 15 V and consumes less than 100 mA of current.

The LNPLL is available in a module that measures 2.25 x 2.25 x 0.80 inches with SMA female connectors (other connectors also available on request) and is suitable for use in synthesizer building blocks, communication systems, radar systems and electronic warfare systems.
