The 7037 Series from Bird are In-Line RF Power Sensors that operate from 400 kHz to 60 MHz. These power sensors are designed to bring first-to-market, traceable (as per NIST standards) power measurement accuracy to applications requiring precise measurement, such as in the semiconductor, medical, and laser industries. They utilize Bird’s cutting-edge calibration technology to achieve a power measurement accuracy of 0.5%, which ensures excellent unit-to-unit repeatability and reduces process variability. These sensors can measure both CW and pulse power signals and have a power measurement range from 10 W to 25 kW. They have an insertion loss of less than 0.05 dB and directivity of more than 28 dB. These in-line power sensors can automatically display both CW and pulse power measurements and eliminate the need to use switching modes.
The 7037 Series power sensors also provide harmonic filtering for enhanced accuracy during measurements and support time-domain analysis of RF pulse waveforms to provide a closer look at high-power RF pulses. These high-precision power sensors can be controlled via a built-in USB 2.0 interface and allow users to use VPM3 to log and analyze the RF power data from experimental recipes for more streamlined process development. They can be powered via a USB cable for DC supply and require an external TTL-based sync input. These RoHS-compliant power sensors are available as modules that measure 6.0 x 1.9 x 3.7 inches and have HN, 7/16, SQS, and QRM connectors.
