The FSWX Series from Rohde & Schwarz are Multi-Channel Signal and Spectrum Analyzers that operate from 100 Hz to 44 GHz. They are designed to surpass traditional measurement limitations and to deliver exceptional signal clarity and dynamic range. These spectrum analyzers use a novel multipath architecture with cross-correlation to suppress internal noise, delivering an ultra-clear view of the device under test (DUT). This architecture lowers noise to the physical limit, enabling exceptional dynamic range in noise, phase noise, and spurious performance. It also supports wideband, phase-coherent signal capture across the same or different frequencies, ideal for measuring antenna phase relationships in MIMO systems and enhancing threat detection.
The FSWX Series analyzers incorporate high-speed ADCs that have an analysis bandwidth of 8 GHz, enabling high dynamic range for EVM measurements and high sweep speed. They also integrate filter banks with an optional YIG preselector to prevent foldback of image frequencies into the frequency range of interest and ensure high measurement accuracy. These analyzers have a 12.1-inch multi-touch display with gesture support, and the embedded SCPI recorder simplifies code generation for automatic, remote-controlled management. The analyzers are available as benchtop enclosures and have 2.4 mm (male) & APC 3.5 mm (male) connectors. They are ideal for a variety of applications such as complex communication systems, radars, and characterizing of wideband RF components.
