The E-LynX VS-150M from Elbit Systems is a Tactical Software-Defined Radio (SDR) that operates from 30 to 512 MHz and 960 MHz to 1.8 GHz, covering the NATO frequency range. It is designed to provide robust connectivity and extended network coverage for a wide range of operational environments. This SDR consists of a multi-constellation GNSS receiver for providing location and 1PPS output. This radio produces multiple types of waveforms and information (e.g. video, IP), and uses multi-hop concurrent flooding technique to support complex communication in high interference environments. It supports flexible channel bandwidths of 25/50 kHz and 0.5/1/2/4 MHz.
The E-LynX VS-150 M tactical SDR has an RX sensitivity of -116 dBm at 12 dB SINAD. It does not require GNSS for self-synchronization, thereby simplifying network operations and eliminating a single point of failure. This radio also integrates several security features, including COMSEC, anti-tamper, and SNMPv3, as well as FEC and interleaving algorithms, offering enhanced resistance to jamming. It includes 100 configurable radio presets and uses the built-in 2.8-inch display to access radio configurations. This SDR can also be controlled remotely using Ethernet, USB, and RS232 interfaces, and has external interfaces for cellular and SATCOM services. It requires a DC supply of 20 to 33 V and is available in an enclosure measuring 160 x 230 x 252 mm.
