The SC4400E from Silvus Technologies is a MANET Radio that operates from 300 MHz to 6 GHz. It is suitable for fixed infrastructure, vehicular, long-range, and airborne applications. This MANET radio integrates a radio transceiver unit. It supports Silvus’ battle-proven mobile networked (MN)-MIMO waveforms with 4x4 MIMO and G.711/G.722/Opus voice codec schemes, enabling mission-critical connectivity. This radio delivers a data rate of up to 100 Mbps (adaptive) over channel bandwidths of 5/10/20 MHz (with optional 1.25/2.5 MHz bands) with a latency of 7 ms. It provides an output power of 20 W and 80 W (while beamforming) and has an Rx sensitivity of -108 dBm.
The SC4400E can connect 550+ nodes in a network and employs advanced MIMO techniques – spatial multiplexing, space-time coding, and Tx/Rx Eigen beamforming to ensure high performance. It also utilizes an DES56 encryption scheme for security and a network management GUI with advanced tools & diagnostics for high reliability. This MANET radio can be controlled via Ethernet, RS232, and USB 2.0 interfaces. It requires a DC supply of 9 to 20 V and consumes less than 100 W of power. This radio is available in either a rugged IP68-rated enclosure measuring 134 x 115 x 46 mm (short fin)/134 x 115 x 66 mm (long fin) or an OEM enclosure measuring 109 x 84 x 21 mm. It has TNC (female), SMP (male), and N-type (female, optional) connectors.
