The PE42726 from pSemi is a Reflective SPDT RF Switch that operates from 5 to 1794 MHz. It has a switching time of 38 μs, an insertion loss of less than 0.55 dB and provides an isolation of more than 19 dB. The switch is manufactured on pSemi’s UltraCMOS® process, a patented variation of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology on a sapphire substrate, offering the performance of GaAs with the economy and integration of conventional CMOS. It is designed for use in cable applications including DOCSIS 3.0/1 cable modem, set-top box, residential gateway and filter bank switching.
The PE42726 requires a DC supply of 3.3 V and can handle an input power of up to 86 dBmV (75 ohms). It is available in a 12-lead surface-mount QFN package that measures 3.00 x 3.00 x 0.75 mm.
