The SYN765x from Synaptics are Multi-Protocol, AI-Native Wireless SoCs that operate in the 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands. They are designed to combine tri-band connectivity with computing capabilities, enabling applications that require multiple wireless technologies and advanced on-device AI. These SoCs integrate an ARM Cortex-M52 core and an ARM Ethos-U55 NPU, providing AI-based Wi-Fi sensing and keyword detection capabilities. They also include a tri-band radio with MAC/baseband processing, a security module, memories, system management, and peripheral interfaces. These SoCs support multiple wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and IEEE 802.15.4 for Zigbee and Thread, along with Matter-compliant interoperability, offering flexible connectivity options.

The SYN765x series of compute SoCs uses CSI-based sensing to detect presence, activity, breathing, and gestures, along with Bluetooth channel sounding for precise distance measurement. They incorporate security features such as ARM TrustZone and AES, enhancing protection. These SoCs are compatible with Astra environment and MCU SDK, enabling rapid application development. They can be controlled remotely using multiple interfaces, including UART, SPI, I2C, and USB. The built-in NN accelerators are designed to consume very low power, improving power efficiency. These SoCs are ideal for smart appliances, home automation, and industrial IoT applications.
