The SKY13498-21 from Skyworks is a SP10T antenna switch that operates from 0.7 to 2.7GHz. It has an insertion loss of less than 1.4dB and provides an isolation of more than 19dB. It can handle a power of 36dBm (LTX pin) and has a return loss of 18dB. This switch has two dedicated GSM transmit ports and three dedicated ultra-low-loss TRX ports, with an integrated Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) controller.
This SP10T switch has a switching speed of less than 5 μs & it requires a supply of 6 V, consuming a current of less than 100μA in active mode. It is available in a 20-pin surface-mount Multi-Chip Module (MCM) package that measures 2.5 x 2.5 x 0.8 mm. It is ideal in G/3G/4G multimode cellular handsets (LTE, UMTS, CDMA2000, EDGE, GSM, TDD-LTE, TD-SCDMA) and embedded data cards applications.
