The TRX BF/02 from Sivers Semiconductors is a 16+16 channel Beamforming Transceiver Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) that operates from 24 to 29.5 GHz. It can be easily integrated with any 5G mmWave modem with a zero-IF/Low IF baseband interface. The transceiver provides a throughput of 5 Gbit/s with support for 256 QAM OFDM and beyond. It delivers a combined linear output of up to +25 dB and has a noise figure of less than 7 dB.
The TRX BF/02 allows several RFICs to be tiled together in bigger arrays for longer reach and greater performance. It has an excellent link budget, flexible channelization, and excellent Error Vector Magnitude (EVM) performance which makes it suitable for outdoor infrastructure 5G mmWave applications.
