The SA52KOA from Communications & Power Industries is a Block Up Converter (BUC) that converts input frequencies to output frequencies from 27.5-30 GHz/29-31 GHz. It delivers a linear output power from 80-100 W with a gain of more than 63 dB and a gain adjustment range of up to 30 dB (in 0.1 dB steps). This BUC is manufactured using GaN technology and uses proprietary RF techniques to provide high linear power and efficiency in a small, lightweight outdoor package. It has built-in multi-carrier compatible (MCC) technology that allows customers to obtain maximum output power, regardless of the number of carriers used. This BUC requires an AC supply of 110-240 V and consumes less than 1200 VA of power.
This converter can be controlled using RJ45 Ethernet interfaces. It is available in an enclosure that measures 9.50 x 8.10 x 17.00 inches with 2.9 mm (female)/N-type (female) connectors and WR34-grooved waveguide flange and is ideal for LEO/MEO/GEO systems, SATCOM-on-the-move, and antenna-mount applications.
