The nRF91M1 from Nordic Semiconductor is an LTE-M and NB-IoT Combo Module that operates from 700 to 2200 MHz (LTE band). It is a certified, low-power cellular IoT solution designed to simplify development and accelerate time-to-market for applications requiring a separate host microcontroller (MCU), enabling rapid 5G-ready IoT deployments. This combo module also combines cellular connectivity with GNSS functionality, thereby providing accurate positioning while maintaining high power efficiency. It delivers an output power of 20 dBm as per Power Class 5 and 23 dBm as per Power Class 3. 

The nRF91M1 LTE-M and NB-IoT module utilizes the globally-certified nRF9151 platform’s software stack and comes with Nordic’s pre-programmed mature serial modem application and modem firmware, allowing remote configuration through an external MCU via intuitive AT commands or PPP interfaces. This combo module supports seamless integration with nRF Cloud to further simplify development and accelerate scaling from prototype to production. It is available in a module that measures 12 x 11 mm.
