The StealthWave T2000 from Berten are MANET Tactical Radio Transceivers that operate from 1150 to 2600 MHz, covering L-band and S-band. They are lightweight radios that provide robust communication links in military applications. These transceivers consist of 2 RF MIMO transmitters, protection and diagnostics, and a power supply unit. They support 2x2 MIMO with a scalable MANET network topology that simultaneously supports more than 200 nodes in a network using mesh, star, and mixed network topologies. These radio transceivers utilize TDMA-based multiple access scheme for communication with C-OFDM, QPSK, and 16-QAM modulation schemes. They deliver a data rate of 3-50 Mbps over channel bandwidths of 5, 10, 20, or 30 MHz (L-Band) and 10, 20, or 30 MHz (S-Band). These systems provide an output power of 5 W (per transmitter).
The StealthWave T2000 transceivers also incorporate robust channel impairment mitigation strategies, such as true random frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS). They have a frequency hop rate of up to 50 hops per second over 512 different frequencies. These transceivers utilize built-in self-test (BIST), over-temperature monitoring, and EMI filtering circuitries to ensure stable operation. They can be remotely controlled using RS232/422 and 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet interfaces. These RoHS-compliant MANET radios require a DC supply of 12 to 32 V and consume less than 2.3 A of current. They are available in IP67-rated rugged enclosures that measure 106.0 x 72.0 x 42.5 mm and have TNC (female) connectors. These radios comply with RTCA DO-160 & MIL-STD-810 standards.
The radio transceivers have an EAR99 export classification.
