The RRM5459020-M1A from RFHIC is a C-band GaN Transceiver Module that operates from 5.4 to 5.9 GHz. In Tx mode, it delivers an output power of 20 W (pulse width 50 µs (max.), duty cycle up to 10%) with a Tx gain of 40 dB and has harmonics of -20 dBc. While in Rx mode, it delivers a gain of 26 dB and a noise figure of 3.2 dB. This transceiver integrates a circulator to implement a duplexer function of Tx and Rx and has a Tx/Rx switching time of less than 500 ns with a return loss of better than 14 dB.

The RRM5459020-M1A includes a 6-bit attenuator with an attenuation range of 0-31.5 dB (LSB of 0.5 dB) and a 6-bit digital phase shifter with a phase shift range of 0 to 354.625° (LSB of 5.625°). It has a built-in EEPROM to store and utilize necessary information in the system. This transceiver module requires a DC supply of +30, +5, +3.3, -7 or -5 V. It is available in a housing that measures 26.5 x 95.5 x 13.8 mm and has an SMA/SMP connector. This transceiver module is ideal for use in C-Band radar applications.
