The C6x Lite Edition (LE) from Mimosa is a Backhaul Radio that operates from 5150 to 6425 MHz. It is a cost-effective solution that provides scalable point-to-point (PTP) and point-to-multipoint (PTMP) connectivity, even in challenging environments. This radio integrates an 8 dBi antenna with Mimosa’s modular N5-X twist-on options for flexible adaptation. In PTMP mode, this radio can be paired with an A6 access point’s multi-user OFDM/OFDMA scheduling and beamforming to achieve reliable subscriber scaling and efficient noise management in the 6 GHz band. This backhaul radio supports 2x2 MIMO and delivers a data rate of 2.5 Gbps over channel bandwidths of 20/40/80 MHz. It delivers an output power of up to 27 dBm and has an Rx sensitivity of -96 dBm.
The C6x Lite Edition (LE) radio utilizes a wide range of wireless technologies and modulation schemes, including MU-MIMO client, BPSK-to-1024 QAM, and OFDM/OFDMA. This PTMP backhaul radio can actively scan and log ongoing interference across all channels, and supports dynamic auto-optimization. It also incorporates AES, RADIUS, and 802.1x authorization algorithms to secure networks. This radio can be controlled remotely using 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet interfaces. It can be powered via a power-over-ethernet (PoE) device with a +24 VDC supply and consumes less than 30 W of power. This RoHS-compliant radio is available in an IP67-rated UV-stabilized, dual-pole-mount enclosure that measures 178 x 113 x 67 mm.
