The TNA-303L-65 from Tachyon Networks is a Fixed Wireless Backhaul Radio that operates from 57 to 71 GHz. It is a cost-effective radio designed to bring next-generation connectivity to every installation site. This backhaul radio also incorporates an RF antenna. It supports both point-to-point (PTP) and point-to-multipoint (PTMP) connectivity across the full 60 GHz band and channels 5 and 6, enabling longer links and increased co-location opportunities. This radio uses TDMA-based dynamic scheduling mechanism for communication and delivers a data rate of up to 1 Gbps over channel bandwidths of 1/2 GHz. It features an 8x8° beam steering angle and delivers an EIRP of 54 dBm, supporting ranges of up to 3 km for point-to-point (PTP) and 2 km for point-to-multipoint (PTMP) links.
The TNA-303L-65 can operate in station and PTP modes (software-configurable). This backhaul radio utilizes AES-128 and GCMP encryption schemes for data security. It supports data and management VLAN capabilities, IPv4/IPv6, SNMP v2/v3, SNMP traps, and RESTful API for network management. This radio can be remotely controlled using USB Type-A and 1G Ethernet interfaces. It requires a DC supply of 38-57 V (active PoE with passive injector) and consumes less than 15 W of power. This backhaul radio is available in an ultra-compact, weatherproof pole-mount enclosure that measures 5 x 5 x 4 inches. It is ideal for sub-7 GHz offload, deploying fiber-like services, high-speed point-to-point connections, and high-bandwidth video surveillance applications.
