AMP10005

The AMP10005 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a GaN Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 500 to 2500 MHz. It delivers a saturated output power of more than 50 W (CW) with a gain of over 47 dB. This SSPA is based on Class AB linear GaN technology and achieves high efficiency in a compact form factor. It can be used for all single-channel modulation standards during testing scenarios. This power amplifier has spurious levels of better than -60 dBc, harmonic levels of -25 dBc, and a 2-tone intermodulation distortion (IMD) of -30 dBc. 

The AMP10005 amplifier is equipped with robust built-in protection circuitries, thereby ensuring high reliability and ruggedness. This SSPA requires a DC supply of 28 to 30 V and consumes less than 7 A of current. It is available as a module that measures 188.0 x 91.5 x 27.0 mm and has SMA (female) connectors. This power amplifier is ideal for EMC-EMI/RFI compliance, labs, and general communications applications.
