The AMP1052 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a solid state power amplifier that operates from 6 to 18 GHz. This amplifier has been developed using a class AB linear GaAs FET hybrid design and delivers a gain of more than 43 dB with an output power of 20 watts. The amplifier requires a supply voltage of 12 V DC and consumes up to 22 A of current. It is available in a rugged module that measures 170 x 180 x 27 mm with SMA female connectors. This SSPA has built-in protection circuits and an instantaneous wide bandwidth.
