The AMP20114 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 0.8 to 3.2 GHz. It delivers an output power of 500 W (CW) and 1000 W (peak) with a power gain of more than 60 dB and a gain flatness of less than 4.0 dB p-p. This amplifier is based on a Class A/AB linear design, thereby delivering high efficiency over the operating frequency range. It is ideal for EMI/RFI testing, radar, EMC, EW, laboratory, and CW/pulse communication applications.
The AMP20114 has multiple built-in protection functions and extensive monitoring capabilities, resulting in unprecedented reliability and robustness. This high-power amplifier can be controlled either manually using a local LCD panel or remotely via Ethernet, RS-422/RS-485, USB, and optional GPIB interfaces. It requires a single-phase AC supply of 220 V (an optional 3-phase 120/208 VAC supply is also available) and consumes less than 5500 W of power.
This amplifier is available in a 9U rack-mount enclosure that measures 482 × 398 × 750 mm and has an N-type female connector for the input port & a 7/16 DIN connector for the output port.
