The AMP4090-LC from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 40 to 42.5 GHz. It delivers a CW output power of more than 40 W with a gain of 46 dB. This Class A/AB linear amplifier has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc and harmonics of -20 dBc. It is equipped with built-in protection circuits and provides extensive monitoring parameters for all modulations, standards, forward/reflected power in Watts & dBm, VSWR, voltage, current, and temperature. It also features Exodus’ quiet-cool technology for closed-circuit air-liquid cooling.
The AMP4090-LC has an LCD control panel and can also be controlled remotely. It is available in a rack-mounted 5U-chassis that measures 425 x 222 x 635 mm with 2.4 mm (female) connectors for input and a WR-22 waveguide interface for output. This amplifier is ideal for use in EMI/RFI, lab, and communication applications. It requires an AC supply from 100-240 V and consumes less than 500 W of power.
