The RF-410D from L3Harris Technologies is a Next Generation Power Amplifier (NGPA) that operates from 90 to 2600 MHz. It maximizes mission flexibility through radio-agnostic capabilities, along with multiband support, and enhances tactical agility by eliminating the need for multiple power amplifiers. This NGPA is engineered to meet the changing needs of missions on the move and supports vehicular or fixed-mount radio systems, which do not require a shock mount. It features an RF sensing mode, requiring minimal manual interaction, and a radio control mode, which utilizes the radio’s software to optimize PA performance with no user interaction. This power amplifier is compatible with all L3Harris tactical radios, supporting a variety of interfaces and modes. It provides an output power of up to 50 W and has a channel spacing of 25 kHz to 20 MHz.
The RF-410D has a software-defined architecture, enabling fast upgrades to emerging and future waveforms, and offers reliable range extension in congested or contested environments. It supports a variety of modes and waveforms, including FM/FSK, AM/ASK, SINCGARS, HAVEQUICK I/II, ASCM, SATURN, P25, ANW2®C, SRW, and TSM-X, resulting in greater flexibility. This amplifier requires a DC supply from 13 to 34.5 V and consumes less than 400 W of power. It can be controlled using LVDS and RS-485 interfaces. This next-generation power amplifier is available in an enclosure that measures 3.7 x 5.6 x 10.5 inches.
