The MAAP-011218 is an E-band Power Amplifier that operates from 71 to 86 GHz. It provides a saturated output power of 0.5 W (~27 dBm) with a small signal gain of 20 dB and has a noise figure of 7 dB. This 4-stage amplifier has an efficiency of up to 15%. It requires a DC supply of 4 V and consumes up to 460 mA of current. The amplifier is designed for use as a power amplifier stage in transmitting chains and has integrated temperature-compensated power detector. It is available as a bare die that measures 2790 × 1950 × 50 µm and is ideal for E-band point-to-point radio applications.
