The AM1136 from Mercury Systems is a Driver Amplifier that operates from 1.4 to 20 GHz. It delivers a P1dB power of 20 dBm (~0.1 W) with a gain of 21 dB and a noise figure of 3.5 dB. This MMIC amplifier is an excellent choice for use as a driver amplifier in an LO or transmit path. It is internally matched to 50 Ω, enabling a compact PCB footprint for low SWaP applications. The amplifier operates on a DC supply of either 3.3 V or 4.1 V and consumes less than 63 mA of current. It is available in a QFN package measuring 3 x 3 mm and can operate over a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C.
