The ZVE-143-S+ from Mini-Circuits is a Two-Stage RF Amplifier that operates from 8 to 14 GHz. It provides more than 16 dB of gain, has a noise figure of less than 5.5 dB and a P1dB of up to 0.6 W. This unconditionally stable amplifier requires a DC supply of 12 V and draws under 450 mA of current. It provides built-in safety features such as protection against reverse bias and immunity to accidental open or short loads for 2 minutes. The ZVE-143-S+ is available in a module that measures 1.05 x 1.01 x 0.35 inches with SMA connectors and is suitable for radar and military, test instrumentation, satellite repeaters, and communications applications.
