The CLNA-40-0400-0800-5P-ND-DB from Narda-MITEQ is a Cryogenic Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) that operates from 4 to 8 GHz. It is designed for ultra-low noise performance at cryogenic temperatures down to 4 K with low DC power consumption. This 50-ohm amplifier provides a gain of 40 dB with a gain flatness of ±2 dB and a noise temperature of 4 K. It has an output P1dB of -5 dBm. It can handle an RF input power of up to +10 dBm and has an input/output VSWR of 2.0:1.  

The CLNA-40-0400-0800-5P-ND-DB requires a DC supply of +0.08 to +0.40 V and consumes 15 mA of current with a typical power consumption of 3 mW. This RoHS-compliant LNA is available in a module measuring 15.7 × 17.0 × 7.6 mm and has SMA female connectors with DC bias through a Nano-D connector. It is ideal for quantum computing, radio astronomy, deep-space communication, satellite communications, and SIGINT applications.
