QPL1841 Image

The QPL1841 from Qorvo is a GaAs CATV MMIC Amplifier that operates from 5 to 850 MHz. It delivers a gain of 12.5 dB and has a noise figure of less than 2.9 dB with an output P1dB of up to 21.5 dBm. This single-ended amplifier is manufactured using a GaAs pHEMT process and has a reverse isolation of 17 dB with a return loss of -20 dB (input/output). It requires a DC supply of 5 or 8 V and consumes less than 160 mA of current. This 75-ohm CATV amplifier is available in a 16-pin QFN package measuring 3 x 3 x 0.85 mm. It is designed for broadband CATV DOCSIS 4.0 applications, such as nodes, amplifiers, and remote PHY devices, as well as fiber to the home (FTTH), home gateways, and cable modems.
