The BBA300-F Series from Rohde & Schwarz are Modular Solid-State Power Amplifiers (SSPAs) that operate from 6 to 13 GHz. They are designed for high availability and provide high linearity with excellent noise power density and harmonic characteristics, which speeds up EMC, RF component, and OTA coexistence testing for wireless manufacturers. These power amplifiers support the amplification of narrowband signals such as AM, FM, and PM, as well as complex modulated signals including OFDM with up to 200 MHz bandwidth. They deliver a saturated output power from 40 to 135 W with a power gain of up to 47 dB and a gain flatness of ±4 dB.
The BBA300-F Series SSPAs are equipped with the R&S BBA300-PK1 software option, which enables adjustable bias operation between Class A and Class AB modes and supports functions such as frequency range extension and high-power operation. These SSPAs support remote control via an Ethernet interface for automated test operation. They require an AC supply of 200 to 240 V and consume less than 1.9 kVA of power. These amplifiers are available in rack-mount enclosures and have N-type (female) connectors for input ports & WRD650 or N-type (female) connectors for output ports.
