The SA1059 from SUNGSAN is an RF Test System that is used for EMC radiation immunity testing of medical devices. It is a high power amplifier system that is used for pre-verification and to simulate interference between medical devices and equipment. This is an important testing requirement and required to avoid malfunctioning of medical/electronics devices while operating. The Power Amplifier system operates from 1000 to 6000 MHz with an output power of more than 250 W and a gain of 54 dB. It has 2nd harmonics of -20 dBc and a VSWR of less than 2:1. The system measures 600 x 1000 x 1500 mm and has SMA female and N-type female connectors. It has a chiller (water cooling device) to ensure stable cooling of the RF Power Amplifier and is supplied it as a 1 rack unit. The test system has an LCD panel from where it can be controlled and it also has an emergency stop button which can be used to shut off the power amplifier. It requires an AC supply voltage from 200 to 260 V and consumes up to 4000 W of power.
