VBA1060-60

The VBA1060-60 from Vectawave Technology is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 1 to 6 GHz. It is based on high-performance wideband GaN output stages and utilizes proprietary Quadrature Hybrid combining techniques for improved efficiency. This Class A power amplifier delivers 60 W of output power with a gain of 49 dB and has a gain flatness of ±3dB. It has harmonic levels of better than -20 dBc and an input VSWR of up to 2.0:1 with an infinite output VSWR at any phase without foldback. 

The VBA1060-60 can be controlled locally via a front-panel keypad and display or remotely through Ethernet, USB, and GPIB interfaces. It includes electrical interlock protection and monitoring of RF power levels and power-supply status. This SSPA requires a 100 to 240 V AC supply and consumes less than 1.5 kVA of power. It is available in a 3U 19-inch rack-mount enclosure with a depth of 600 mm and has N-type (female) connectors. This amplifier operates over a temperature range from 0°C to +40°C and complies with EN 61326 Class A emissions and EN 61010-1 safety standards.
