The K2318A from kTB Solutions is a Calibrated Coaxial Noise Source that operates from 10 MHz to 18 GHz. It is designed for precision noise figure measurements and any application requiring broad bandwidth & fast switching time. This noise source incorporates a hermetically sealed noise diode and has a noise output variation of less than 0.01 dB/°C over an operating temperature of -55°C to +85°C. It has an excess noise ratio (ENR) from 20 to 24 dB with a noise output of 14 to 30 dB. They require a DC supply of +28 V and consume 20 mA of current.  

The K2318A is available as a module that measures 63.46 x 12.7 x 12.7 mm and has SMA (female) connectors. It is ideal for radar warning receivers, built-in test equipment, military aircrafts, automotive radars, 802.11ad high-speed Wi-Fi, and ultra-low latency wireless backhaul applications.
