The OG7050CAN from Epson is an Oven-Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO) that operates from 1 to 170 MHz. It is designed using a stress-compensated rectangular SC-cut crystal and a miniaturized oven, delivering 56% lower power consumption than Epson's OG1409 OCXOs while reducing the form factor by 85%. The optimized oven design enables faster crystal warm-up, improving startup frequency stability by 5× compared to earlier OCXOs. This OCXO produces CMOS output waveforms with a frequency stability of ±3 x 10-9 versus an operating temperature range from -40 to +105°C.

The OG7050CAN OCXO requires a 3.3 V DC supply and consumes 0.2 W of power. It is available in a package measuring 7.0 x 5.0 x 3.3 mm. It is ideal for reference signal source applications in next-generation communication infrastructure.
