Whisper Series

The Whisper series from Quantic MWD are Phase Locked Dielectric Resonator Oscillators that operate from 8 to 18 GHz. They deliver an output power of 17 dBm and have a phase noise of less than –113 dBc/Hz. These oscillators have harmonics of less than -40 dBc and spurious levels of less than -75 dBc. They can be fully customized with integrated phase-locked loops and tuning for enhanced performance. These oscillators require a DC supply of 12 V and consume 195 mA of current. They are available in a module that measures 2.25 x 2.25 x 0.67 inches and have SMA female connectors. These oscillators are ideal for satellite communications, radar systems, base stations, portable transceivers, and test equipment applications.
