The ESP32-WROOM from Espressif Systems is a Wi-Fi+BT+BLE MCU module that supports variety of applications such as low-power sensor networks, voice encoding, music streaming and MP3 decoding. The module has an integarted 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip. It supports a data rate of up to 150 Mbps and has a sleep current of under 5 microampere, making it suitablefor battery powered and wearable electronics applications. The module has an embedded antenna switch, RF balun, power amplifier, low-noise receive amplifier, filters, and power management modules. It is available with a U.FL connector to which an external antenna can be attached. The module supports secure (encrypted) over the air (OTA) upgrades and is FCC/CE (RED)/IC/TELEC/KCC/SRRC/NCC and Wi-Fi Alliance certified.
