The FWM7BLZ20B from Fujitsu is a Bluetooth 5.0 module for IoT applications that can connect with up to 8 peripherals simultaneously. It is based on the low power nRF52832 Nordic chipset and supports a data rate of up to 2 Mbps. It provides an output power of 4 dBm and has a receive sensitivity of -94 dBm. It requires a 3.6V DC supply and has a current consumption of 17.1 mA while transmitting and 8 mA while receiving. The module embeds “X2 speed” which increases communication speeds, and also has “LE Advertising Extensions” which increase communication capacity and the number of channels. The module supports various communication interfaces such as UART, SWDCLK, GPIO, SWDI0 & nRESET. It is available in SMT package and measures 15.7 x 9.8 x 1.7 mm.
