The PAN9019 from Panasonic is a 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 Companion Module with integrated Bluetooth 5.3 BDR/EDR/Low Energy (LE) support. It has a channel bandwidth of 20, 40 and 80 MHz and supports 802.11e Quality of Service for multimedia applications. The independent operation of the two standards enables 802.11ax data rates with High Efficiency (HE) and low-power operation (Bluetooth LE). It is based on the NXP® IW611 Radio SoC and supports the latest technologies like MU-MIMO, OFDMA and 1024-QAM modulation scheme. This module has integrated power management, a fast dual-core CPU, 802.11i/w security standard support, and high-speed data interfaces that deliver the performance for the speed, reliability, and quality requirements of next-generation products. It requires a DC supply of 1.8 and 3.3 V.

The PAN9019 delivers a data rate of up to 600 Mbps and has an Rx sensitivity of -98 dBm. It supports WPA3 personal and enterprise security and supports authenticated and secured boot. This module is available in an SMT package that measures 5.3 x 12.0 x 2.5 mm and can be controlled via SDIO 3.0, high-speed UART and SPI interfaces with support for WCI-2 and 5-wire PTA coexistence interfaces. It provides high flexibility for connectivity and is ideal for high-throughput applications like industrial devices and appliances.
