The Bluetooth Xpress BGX13S from Silicon Labs is a Bluetooth 5 SiP module that delivers a serial-to-Bluetooth 5 solution that requires no wireless firmware development for applications. It has integrated antenna, RF certifications, built-in cloud connectivity for secure updates through the Xpress framework for iOS and Android development. The device also integrates a Bluetooth 5 compliant stack to future-proof applications. It provides secure connections with encrypted communication, bonding and passkey pairing and can be controlled by smartphone app. This module is available in a package that measures 6.5 x 6.5 x 1.4 mm in size and is an ideal solution for smart home products requiring Bluetooth control with a mobile app and health, sport, smartphones, Industrial and home applications. The BGX13S has Bluetooth, CE, full FCC, Japan and South-Korea certifications. 

This module has been developed to help developers get IoT applications connected and running in a day, with no software development necessary. Silicon Labs' Wireless Xpress provides a configuration-based development experience with everything developers need including certified Bluetooth 5 Low Energy (LE) modules, integrated protocol stacks and easy-to-use tools.
