The Daphnis-I from Wurth Elektronik is a Long-Range WAN Module that operates from 863 to 870 MHz. It delivers an RF bitrate of 50 kbps and has a line of range of 25 km. This module is based on an STM32WLE5CCU6 chip and supports Class A, Class B, and Class C long-range WAN classes. It is compliant with 1.0.4 Long-Range-WAN specifications supporting the EU868 frequency band. This module requires a DC supply of 3.3 V and consumes 24.5 mA (Tx) and 6.9 mA (Rx) of current. It delivers an output power of 13.4 dBm and has an Rx sensitivity of -138 dBm. This module is available in a compact package that measures 15 x 16 x 3 mm and can be controlled via a UART interface.

The Daphnis-I is ideal for smart city/smart home, agriculture and healthcare, automotive and transport, smart factory/industrial 4.0 applications.
